The Doxygen comment `//!` refers to the line after the comment. If
the comment should refer to the same line, `//!<` has to be used.

In adaptive grids it might be necessary to store more interaction volume
data. Memory reallocation must be avoided as the stored pointers lose
validity otherwise.

this will be necessary in the grid data transfer for adaptive 2p models

We still want to be compatible with Dune 2.5 where the optional
class is not yet available.
